Here are some survey results for those who are curious about this kind of stuff. Thanks so much to all that responded!!! In summary, only 1 person would even admit to being a skiboarder. Many prefered the term wakeboarder, even those that had a little contest experience. Just free ride was also a common theme.
90% have ridden a wakeboard.
74% have ridden a modern wakeboard.
38% prefer the term wakeboarder only.
2% prefer the term skiboarder
60% answered "yes" to the question: "Do you consider yourself a wakebaorder or a skiboarder?"
74% said they were male.
