Springtime
O yes, springtime can be so sweet with long days with medium to small waves from the north pacific and the south pacific starts coming to life. We haven't had any large north swells for a long time (here in Northern California); and yet there have been small but still fun waves. This kind of wave action moves the sand onto some rarely covered reefs and nocks in the coast. Then those beautiful long period south swells start showing up are peeling even better than usual due to the sand covered condition of the reef. And show up they did, the last couple of weeks have been fun. But the same waves that are so extra fun, are the same waves that move the sand off the reef and onto the beach. Plus Northern California summers can be pretty small, makes it even more important to get it while you can. See ya out there.
