A Snow Odyssey
May
Most of the snow we got this year has melted and most of the resorts have closed or will be closing soon. Alpine Meadows will be open til May 13 - Mothers Day; which will be FREE!
April
The main resorts still have 4 to 9 feet of snow, but it has been melting fast. We should get some April SNOW showers before we get to end of sping conditions. Some resorts have closed or are closing soon! Call or check the ski area web sites before you head out!

March
Very spring like with extra warm days in between the weakening storms then warm, too warm!

February
The weather was warm and dry for the start of the month. Then we got some needed snow. Still need more, but the conditions are pretty good by this years standards.

Diamond Peak Slopestyle

January
It finally snowed again and the weather has been cold and winter like. We have 3 to 7 feet at the resorts and they are still making snow at night when it is cold enough. Hopefully it will snow more!

Northstar Halfpipe

December
All the major resorts and most of the others are now open with pretty good December coverage. The weather forecast for the holiday week is looking good so far. Still carry chains, drive safely, and be courteous to others.
