Snow Sports Action from the Mountain to Your Computer

Monday, March 15th 1999
The weekly pattern changed and the best days of last week were Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There were deep powder, windbuff powder, sunny, and warm chinook wind days. Something for everyone, except for most all of the top riders, skiers, and snow sport industry people who were in Vegas for the SIA trade show. That made last week the best week of the year for the unsponsored underground and any lucky traveler who found their way to Squaw. The rally call on Tuesday was "Viva Las Vegas" as the lucky few made uncrowded laps of perfect pow. At least that is the way it has been described to myself and others who "Dude, you missed out". OK, we are jealous. The following are some shots from earlier this season.
