Saturday, January 23th 1999 It is DUMPING!It has been going since last weekend. The snow level had been going up and down like a yoyo, but it has mostly been snow on the upper elavations; where over 8' has accumulated. Only a few lifts opened today on the upper mountain that had been on wind-hold for a couple of days. It will be sick when more opens! The lower mountain was smokey deep and super sick today. There was already 14" of fresh this morning. It then snowed hard all day and flakes got lighter as the temperature dropped; I had to post hole in over knee deep fluff on my way through the parking lot to get to my car at the end of the day. KT22 was the bomb when they opened it at 9:10am. It was not very crowded until 10am when the line grew out the maze and was that way all day. It was so good that the line was stacked out the maze at KT22 at 3:50pm; it was that GOOD! |

It dumped and the skies partialy cleared to make for the Best Day of the Year (So Far).
